Conwy’s annual on-the-water festival will take place over
two weekends in July. The fun begins with the Quay Day and racing on Saturday 14th and the racing
continues throughout Sunday 15th. The famous LA-LA rally to Caernarfon is scheduled for Friday 20th,
Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd July.

Alun Tan Lan, amazing local singer-songwriter who has performed under different names. Most notably Y Niwl, a welsh instrumental band with a kind of west coast surfer sound from the 60’s but somehow still sounding welsh. They have toured with Gruff Rhys (Super Furry Animals) around the world and even reached the dizzying heights of having one of their tunes used as the theme tune for Football Focus! Join us for a brilliant open water sea swim at Colwyn Bay. Based at the wonderful Watersports Centre with its top notch facilities ‘Colwyn Bay Oceanswim’ offers top quality open water sea swimming with distances to suit all abilities.
Take part in either the 5km, 3km or 2km distance swims or really challenge yourself and go for the ‘Triple Whammy 10km’ by completing all three distances one after the other!
Trophies will be awarded to the Champion female and male swimmers in all distances with medals and quality goody bags provided for all.
