The team behind Su Casa have decided to give back to Conwy County in thanks for their support over the last two years ! What better way than a food festival with free entry !!
One not to be missed off the foodies calendar, brand new event Street Food Festival is coming to Conwy Quay and luckily you won’t have long to wait, as it’s this weekend! (Friday 22nd) Claiming to boast the best of local food vendors, the organisers have warned to prepare for an evening of quality food and fun. Food announcements are yet to come, but they promise a variety of some seriously scrummy scran!
Street Food Festival is set to take place on the picturesque Conwy Quay between the hours of 4pm – 10pm. Organisers describe the event as a unique dining experience for all ages featuring the best in live music and tasty street food.
However, the event isn’t all about the food as live bands alongside a heated seating area within a large marquee will help to create a laid-back festival vibe.
Don’t panic – there will be plenty to wash your food down with as the festival features pop up bars such as the gin shack and plenty of prosecco!
In even better news – the entry price is completely FREE. Making it a cheap and fun-filled option for all this weekend! The organisers do however ask for a small donation to well-respected local charity St David’s Hospice.

The new Shannon Class Lifeboat ‘William F Yates’ will be arriving in Llandudno Bay at 12:00 – all welcome to come and cheer this incredible vessel – which will help to save so many lives and to show our support for the brave men and woman of the RNLI.

An evening of storytelling for adults – tales from long ago from international storyteller Christian Rogers.

HELP FOR HEROES ADAPTIVE SURF CHAMPIONSHIPS
Saturday – 11 – 4 – Surf Snowdonia – Dolgarrog
Another world-first which bringing together some of the UK’s most impressive surf athletes to take part in completely unique competition.
This is going to be a day to remember: take some of the best adaptive surf athletes from the UK’s Army, Navy and RAF, give them guaranteed waves for a day, an appreciative crowd and a competition to win and you know it’s going to be a good’un!
All the action will take place right here on this world-first inland lagoon surrounded by the beautiful mountains and forests of Snowdonia.
The Help for Heroes Adaptive Surf Championship is happening on this Saturday – 23rd September and it is a completely FREE OF CHARGE family event.
There will be plenty of activity off the water too, with a children’s assault course for free of charge and as well as all the usual Surf Snowdonia fun including crash & splash, skate, soft play as well as our Surf Side Deli, bars and on site glamping.
The Royal Welsh Regiment will also be joining in with displays of military equipment, coordination and stamina challenges as well advice and information about careers with the armed forces.

Rhyl is officially taking part in the world’s largest charitable motorcycle event for owners of classic and vintage styled bikes on Sunday September 24th.
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride brings together over 70,000 well dressed gentlefolk in 600+ cities on stunning motorcycles for men’s health across 95 countries. The goal for 2017 is to raise awareness and $5m for prostate cancer and men’s mental health on behalf of charity partner the Movember Foundation.
