At a recent business meeting, Llandudno’s Rotarians reviewed the accounts and reflected on what had happened in the last financial year to 30th June 2017
In the year, the unfailing generosity of Llandudno’s residents, workers and visitors raised £6,000 from such varied ventures as the 2016 Christmas collection, the i61 Church £10 Challenge, a barbeque and an Indian night, a generous corporate donation and other smaller collections and donations.
This enabled the Club to support each of
Llandudno Youth Music Theatre
Ty Gobaith Hospice
Wales Air Ambulace
St David’s Hospice
Chernobyl Childrens Lifeline – North Wales
Royal National Lifeboats Association with a £500 cheque
Craig y Don Community Centre received a £1138 defibrillator
Ilitha Pre-School Project in South Africa was supported to the extent of £ 1509
Some local micro-charities received £50 each.
A further £123 made possible a day out for residents of St David’s hospice.
