Saffaru Covid Masks Notice:

Please note that we apply and strictly follow Covid-19 Health and Safety regulations. Thus, face masks must be worn and 2m distancing must be kept at all events, at all times.

A recent study evaluated the efficacy of masks to reduce the transmission of respiratory droplets during regular speech. The results showed that some mask types approach the performance of standard surgical masks, while mask alternatives, such as neck fleece or bandanas, offer very little protection. Fleece even increases the risks of transmission.

As a consequence, we will ask everyone who comes with neck fleece, bandanas or fleece to leave the event.

Disgo Zoom Disco gdg/feat Owain Glyndŵr

Saturday 3pm and 7pm

Disgo Zoom Disco gdg/feat Owain Glyndŵr
Green Man Festival – Field of Streams (Online/ar-lein)

A silent disco in which you at home dance the rebellion of the last Welsh prince of Wales. It’s 1399 and Owain Glyndŵr, the legendary rebel Prince of Wales, has disappeared without a trace. Beaming live into kitchens, lounges and bedrooms, discover Owain’ destiny with a DJ mixing club classics, punk hits and pop anthems. Experience the high and lows of the uprising, with fierce twmpath, dance-offs, sieges, betrayals, and defections, at a time when castle lockdowns went on for years, not months…

Join Owain in virtual space and see you and others dancing along online. Immerse yourself in Welsh history but with a twist.

7pm – Audio Description by Beth House

Tickets are free but limited availability.

Disgo distaw i ddawnsio gartref i wrthryfel y Cymro olaf i fod yn dywysog Cymru. Mae’n 1339 ac mae Owain Glyndŵr wedi diflannu. Yn darlledu’n fyw i geginau, lolfeydd ac ystafelloedd gwely, darganfyddwch dynged Owain gyda DJ yn cymysgu clasuron clwb, caneuon pync ac anthemau pop. Profwch uchelfannau a siom y gwrthryfel, gyda thwmpath ffyrnig, cystadleuaeth dawns, gwarchae, brad a ffoi, ar adeg pan oedd cyfnodau clo cestyll yn parhau am flynyddoedd, nid misoedd …

Ymunwch ag Owain mewn gofod rhithiol a’ch gweld eich hunan ac eraill yn dawnsio ar-lein. Cyfle i ymgolli yn hanes Cymru ond gyda gwahaniaeth.

7pm – Disgrifiad Sain gan Beth House

Tocynnau am ddim ond nifer gyfyngedig

Tocynnau ar gael gan: – https://www.greenman.net/artists/light-ladd-and-emberton/?fbclid=IwAR3-uHY7Xd_vjN0QmdYG-T0V0Jttt6XioVRMAx7d2v86xF2Sp-wbmOCjqvI

Virtual Tour – The Great Fire: A Most Horrid Flame

Saturday 4 – 5pm

This is a virtual tour hosted live via Zoom video conferencing, where your guide will show slides and give a talk to accompany them. There will be the opportunity for questions both during and after the talk.

Diarist Samuel Pepys recorded that the Great Fire of London appeared ‘in a most horrid, malicious, bloody flame’. When finally the fire was out, it left a City full of ashes and many lessons to learn.

Join me to follow the Great Fire’s progress, and learn why it spread so fast, so quickly.
