balletLORENT ‘s award-winning team who brought you Snow White are back with an original adaptation of this beloved tale Rumpelstiltskin, directed by Liv Lorent and retold by Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy.
Rumpelstiltskin is the story of the outsider shunned for being different. He is the original super mutant, and fairytale X-man.
‘…the spirit of his mother was with him always…her love for him was so strong that the boy learned to turn ordinary things into gold.’
A story of love, obsession, grief and reconciliation in a show made as much for adults as it is for children.
10 young children aged 4 to 9 as well as 5 from the older generation from the local area will be performing as part of the production.
Age guidance: 7+
We also have a Visual Story Pack which has been designed for audiences with autism or SEND to prepare them for what to expect on their visit to the theatre to see Rumpelstiltskin. If you would like to receive a pack please contact Shari Llewelyn on firstname.lastname@example.org.
These performances are adjusted to make the experience less stressful and more enjoyable. Typically changes will include:
House Lights not being lowered as much as usual
Removal of some special effects
Free to come and go as you wish
Llandudno Lantern Walk – Ty Gobaith
Friday – 5pm – 7pm – Llandudno
Join us in Llandudno on Friday 16 November for an evening of family entertainment as we walk 3,000 steps in the footsteps of families from North Wales.
We will bring the town to life with magical lights & entertainment while also enjoying everything the Llandudno Christmas Fayre has to offer. We will supply ideas of ways to make a simple lantern for everyone who joins us. Please either use our examples, or design your own, we can’t wait to see them.
Walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome, as are dogs on leads. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Registration is FREE. However, every walker is asked to raise as much as they can to help us be there for families who need our support.
Every week, 3 local families face their biggest fear and their child dies, but tragically, we can only afford to help one. With your support, we can be here for more families so they don’t have to suffer alone.
Please note: By signing up to this event online, you are agreeing that you will be taking part in this event at your own risk, and the promoters or any person involved in the organisation of the event, will not be responsible for any illness or injury caused by my participation.
