Walk For Life
Sunday – 10:30 – Llanfairfechan
Our Walk for Life on Sunday is going to be especially family friendly, there’s a children’s stone treasure hunt for Nant y Coed as part of the walk and we will have scavenger hunt sheets as well. Come along to have some fun and also help us raise money for Kidney Wales who have been providing help and equipment to combat the effects of kidney disease for over 50 years.
Meeting at the Prom car park from 10:30am – leaving 11am. Have a look at the Kidney Wales site for further details.

Thursday – 7pm – Little Orme -Penrhyn Bay
The Summer walk this Thursday evening (7th June 2018) we will be exploring the Little Orme Quarry area. Meet at the Co-Op Car Park, Penrhyn Bay (GR SH 818816) at 7pm. The walks are informal and open to all members and friends. Currently the Society meets every Thursday night at the Snowdon at 9:30pm please feel free to join us. As part of a Venue Cymru project, come and share your memories of the Arcadia Theatre, seaside performances and the Llandudno pierrots. Dr Tony Lidington will lead the session. An expert on popular entertainment, he also founded the last remaining professional pierrot group, ‘The Pierrotters’.

The Great Global Greyhound Walk starts from the prom – come along and join in for this easy, flat, one hour walk.
If you are an owner of a greyhound, lurcher or any other sighthound come along and show everyone how wonderful these breeds are.
World Oceans Day

Get swept away by the marine life of Pensarn Beach! To celebrate
World Oceans Day, we will be looking at the wildlife of Pensarn Local Nature Reserve, with a talk by
North Wales Wildlife Trust. Wildlife-themed activities aplenty, along with a strandline litter collection.
Aimed at children accompanied by an adult. This event will be delivered in English only. Meet at Car

Conwy’s Top 50 wildflowers

Explore the reserve with the site manager, Julian Hughes, identifying some of the wild
flowers that fill the reserve with colour. This event is timed to coincide with hundreds of orchids in

A privileged opportunity to trap moths on the reserve with Julian Thompson. Hoping for Obscure
Wainscot and other obscure Wainscots! We’ll then have a ‘show and tell’ session when the Reserve
