Charity Christmas Fashion Show

Saturday –  10-5pm – Conwy – Sychant Pass

Pensychnant is a magical place to start Christmas, with open fires, 12′ Christmas Tree and Anne’s tea and cake in the Aga Kitchen. The house will be full with various crafts stalls; pottery, embroidery, knitting, wood turning, jams, photos and cards,…… It is an excellent opportunity to find unusual and special gifts for Christmas, with every purchase helping to support conservation. Please come.
Note that the Sychnant Pass is closed from the Penmaenmawr side. Do not try to come up from Pen. Come from Conwy and ignore all the road cones and ‘road closed’ signs. You will get through fine.

Santa Dash – Llandudno

Saturday – 9AM – Llandudno Pier

This is a real family event where even the family pet is welcome to come along and join in the festivities. The 5km route takes you along the beautiful sea front of Llandudno North Shore.  You can walk, jog or run the 5km. Participants will receive their own Santa suit to wear a medal and the amazing feeling of joining in such great event.

Registration takes place at The Pier, Llandudno North Shore from 9:00am and the race starts at 11:00am.

Collect your Santa suit on registration and then at the end your well deserved medal.

We invite everyone to come along and soak up the festive atmosphere, whether you want to cheer the runners on or whether you would prefer to join in the event for yourself. We will be grateful for any support that you have to offer!

Entry will cost £16 per adult and £10 per child. The entry fee includes a Santa Suit and your finishers medal.

Expect high-quality stalls with loads of tasty festive foods and treats, North Wales artists, handmade gifts and artisan crafts – ideal presents and stocking fillers for your loved ones with a unique local flavour. And kids will love getting stuck into our festive crafts and games to create some Christmas presents of their own!

We’ll be serving up warming mulled wine and craft ales at our pop-up surf-side pub, and of course, Father Christmas will be here too, in his very own surf-side Santa’s grotto!

Animating Automata with John Grayson: Bringing sculptures to life with metal mechanisms.

Learn how to make illusionary and real movement, through the creation of your own metal automaton. John will show you how to make mechanisms to create movement within a sculpture and a range of expressive gestural mark making techniques.
