Did you take part in the CALL Photomarathon in the summer? Your photos will be displayed in Venue Cymru from Sunday.:)
A photographic competition with a twist: 8 hours | 8 photos | 8 secret topics
A Photomarathon is for everyone – professionals, instagrammers and grandmothers . The point is to challenge yourself under the time restrictions and see where your ideas take you. On the 17th June 2017, 75 intrepid photographers set off on an amazingly sunny day and took the images you can see here in this exhibition. For those younger photographers (under 12s) we ran a shorter, four hour marathon – more of a sprint really.
The 8 topics were: Your number – Yellow – I see a Creature – Connections – Sanctuary – Old – Common Ground – One and Only
The images by each participant are arranged in topic order and give a poignant insight into Llandudno life in the 21st Century.
This project received funding through Arts Council Wales Ideas:people:places.
