Miles of Creativity is a group exhibition that explores the creative act and its relationship to the town of Llandudno, and brings together work by artists and by creative people working in trades not traditionally shown in an art gallery. The result of a curatorial survey of the area immediately surrounding the gallery, the exhibition embraces a wider view of creativity and interdisciplinary thinking, less concerned with questioning what is and what is not ‘art’ than with celebrating creativity, differing notions of which can co-exist side by side in the most unexpected and unintended of places.
A related community engagement project, displayed in our studio space, will invite visitor contributions of photographs and memories of trades in the town over the years.

Brass Band Championships
Saturday – Ruthin – Ysgol Bryn Hyfryd
The Llandudno Town Training Band and Beginners Band will be competing at the North Wales Brass Band Championships at Ysgol Bryn Hyfryd in Ruthin on Saturday 18th November. This will be the first time the Llandudno beginners have competed (some only started playing in September) and the first time taking two bands. Brass has not been the first choice for young people taking up instruments in recent years and so it has required a lot of hard work to get to the point where we there are now over 30 members. The band members are looking forward to performing the pieces they have worked hard on and also to seeing other bands from the North Wales area.
