Wirral Minis – Annual Mini Run

– Annual Mini Run – Annual mini run from Bromborough to Llandudno,
organised by Wirral Minis. The run starts in Bromborough and, after a short break at Rhos-on-Sea,
heads along the coast road and up the Great Orme in Llandudno. After a short stop the run heads down

This coming New Year, WNO Orchestra takes A Journey to Vienna celebrating some of Europe’s finest music. In a programme to transport you across the continent, WNO Orchestra, under the direction of Leader and Concertmaster David Adams, will visit all corners of Europe in works by Offenbach, Mozart, Brahms, Dvorak and, of course, Strauss. The Orchestra is thrilled to be joined by soprano Mary Elizabeth Williams who has become a firm favourite with WNO audiences in recent years winning critical acclaim for roles in Un ballo in maschera, La forza del destino, and Die Fledermaus. Local girl Kiri Pritchard-McLean (Have I Got News For You, 8 Out of Ten Cats), has got together a stellar line up of the UK’s best LGBT+ acts, including Joe Lycett (Live at the Apollo, Never Mind the Buzzcoks, 8 Out of 10 Cats, QI) Stephen Bailey (Celebs on the Farm, Live at the Apollo) and Rosie Jones (The Last Leg, Live at the Apollo, Hypothetical).

North Wales Stamp and Postcard Fair

A circular walk around Eglwysbach over the western hills with stunning views. We’ll meet at the car park of the Bee Inn in Eglwysbach, walk through the village and uphill along Ffordd Maenan onto the Bodnant Estate. The lane leads us towards Tal y Cafn, where we will walk parallel to the Conwy Valley. After passing Llyn Syberi, farms and holiday cottages we go downhill and back to Eglwysbach on what is known as the “dogwalk”.
There will be an opportunity to enjoy a soup plus a small desert and tea/coffee for £8 in the Bee Inn after the walk. Please contact Jutta to register for the walk and you can order refreshments at the same time if you wish to partake (Ideally by Wednesday, January 8).
Dogs (on leads or very well behaved without) are welcome on this walk.

Distance: 10km / 6 miles
