Starting at 4pm and through until 9pm, there are spooktacular goings on at Gwrych Castle this Halloween.
Curse of Gwrych Children’s Trail, Fireworks, Refreshments, Stalls, Fancy Dress Competitions, Carved Pumpkin Competitions, mini fairground, Children’s Crafts and more.

A Celebration of Contemporary Craft at MOSTYN

We are pleased to announce the second North Wales Contemporary Craft Fair to be held at MOSTYN in Llandudno, North Wales on Saturday 2nd November 2019.
We look forward to welcoming artists, designers and makers to present their work for sale in the gallery’s beautiful Edwardian spaces. The fair will provide a fantastic opportunity for shoppers to buy affordable and original craft direct from the artists, just in time for Christmas.
There will be FREE drop-in workshops and chances to win some fabulous craft-related prizes.
Admission is FREE
Income generated by the North Wales Contemporary Craft Fair, and proceeds from the prize raffle, will be invested back into our exhibition and engagement programme.

If you like spooky fun or just plain fun, you’ll have a blast at GreenWood’s Halloween adventure, SpookWood! From Saturday the 19th of October, Snowdonia’s award-winning eco adventure park will be brimming with Halloween fun for the whole family.
Get creative with creepy crafts – make lanterns, monstrous masks, pom pom creatures or create your own broomstick. Keep your eyes peeled for witches and other spooky creatures in the trees, or become one yourself with freaky face painting.
For a Spooktacular treat, head down to our Forest Theatre for our daily live shows. Come along to the Park dressed in your spookiest costumes and take on our Monster Hunt! Look for the creatures hidden around the Park to earn yourself a chocolate reward.
NEW FOR 2019! Join us for our Magical Lantern Forest Parade on Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th October. An evening full of spooky surprises, there’s plenty to keep your little monsters entertained. The evening includes; a lantern making workshop, face painting (included), spooky storytelling and campfire treats, all ending in an enchanting Lantern procession through the Forest.

Bodafon Wellness Centre’s Open Day was deliberately chosen to follow the clock change and support you through the transitions of the seasons.
During the event we will be facilitating a variety of wellbeing activities with our team of experts who hold a combined experience of well over 50 years working within the field of mental health, fitness and nutrition, holistic wellbeing and aesthetics.
During the day we will have a few activities and treatments for you to try, starting with our Wellness Walk. Suitable clothing and footware is recommended.
Then we will lead to having some warm soup and refreshments by the fire (weather pending this may be moved to our 7m Bell Tent) where then Diane and Andrea will lend your ears.
The day will conclude with some group work.
An outdoor Hot Tub will be heated on the day so feel free to emerge yourself, bringing suitable swimwear and a towel.
*Suitable clothing and footware is recommended for the open day

Making Mosaics with Lindsey Kennedy: Modern design meets traditional mosaics.
Using traditional techniques and modern design, create your own unique mosaic to take home. Lindsey will introduce which base to use, how to cut glass and ceramic tiles, using adhesives and grouting to complete either a coaster, trivet or a heart decoration.
