Fairy House Trail
Follow the ribbons to find the fairy houses – how many will you spot? This event is free, but normal admission charges apply for the venue.
This is a self-led activity, visitor reception will point you in the right direction. Wear suitable clothing and footwear for the weather. Please note there are steep paths and steps within the garden.

Bodelwyddan Castle and Park
Guided Trench Tour
Saturday 10th – 2pm – Bodelwyddan
Set in the spacious grounds of Bodelwyddan Castle and Park, the replica WW1 trench is an outstanding memorial to the men and women who passed through Kinmel Park Camp during the Great War and it’s immediate aftermath.
Lasting approximately one and a half hours, your guide will take you around the Trench, and explain the significance of the site and the impact of the War on individuals. See artefacts from Kinmel Camp itself, explore the British Officer’s dugout and the RAP.
Sensible footwear required.

The Group’s next meeting is entitled ‘Snippets of History’ and will be held on Thursday next 15th February at 7pm, This is the annual opportunity for individual members of the Group to give a talk on subjects in which they are particularly interested. Valentine Masquerade Ball and Dance Workshops

Llandudno at 12pm and follows Marine Drive around the scenic Great Orme, before returning to the
promenade and finishing opposite Venue Cymru.

Every Sunday from 18th February – 11 March 2018 please join us at Treborth Botanic Gardens, Bangor, for a fun packed session for all the family.
The event is free to families who have children with special educational needs and disabilities, offering the chance to learn how to live in the woods, with activities such as den building and campfire cooking.

In partnership with the Snowdonia Society FoE Conwy are starting a project to try and reduce the amount of this pretty but invasive plant that is taking over river banks in the Conwy Valley. Owain Thomas from the Snowdonia Society is coming to talk about the successful work that has been done around the shores of Llyn Tegud in Bala and the methods used in its removal. We are hoping that many people in the local community will join us in work parties which will probably commence in June, but coming to the meeting will not commit you to anything!
