Daliso has also been known to jump on planes and tell jokes anywhere on the globe (even on the planes – whether the passenger next to him wants to listen or not). He has been part of the Melbourne, Montreal, Edinburgh and Cape Town Festivals.
In 2011 Daliso began a project called ‘Laughrica’, a one man show in Malawi and followed it up with appearances in Zimbabwe, South Africa and Nigeria. Daliso has also performed in countries as diverse as Singapore, Cambodia, Malaysia and Sri Lanka to Jordan, Australia, Belgium, Switzerland, Romania and the Czech Republic. Daliso also continues to dominate the African comedy scene. He recently performed in front of over two thousand people at the Stand-Up Africa concert in Johannesburg, South Africa as well as also recently performing at the sell-out Presidents Of Laughrica shows in Malawi.
It takes a special kind of act to work on both sides of the Atlantic (as well as across Africa), but it seems an easy transition as he compels the crowd with his socially insightful comedy. NEWS AND STAR, ENGLAND
One of the finest, funniest and most fair-minded comic commentators on race and post-colonial integration that I have seen. THREE WEEKS, SCOTLAND
Full of extravagant gestures and impassioned speeches. He inspires whoops and cheers from his watchers. Highly recommended. BBC TEES, ENGLAND
