The Trakz festival is returning to Llandudno Junction for the third year running.
As well as the Busking Festival on Saturday, 22nd April 2017 there will be an exciting opening evening on Friday 21st April at the Welsh Government building from 5.45pm to 8.30pm.
Trakz and staff from the Welsh Government have been collaborating to ensure the ‘Year Legends’ themed launch evening will be a spectacular start to the festival. The launch will feature a 40 piece choir, live music from local talented artists, sword fighting displays, have have-a-go archery. In addition, the world renowned chainsaw sculpture Simon O’Rouke and his beautiful dragon will be there and the finale is an act not to be missed: Vertical Dancers on the Welsh Government building itself.
The excitement continues on Saturday, 22nd April 2017. From 10am until 4pm the town will be bustling with live music, dance, circus entertainment, craft fair, bouncy castles, workshops and so much more in this 3rd year of the Festival.
The evening will continue with a selection of fabulous live bands and DJs entertaining the crowds until midnight.
The Trakz Festival is more than just a busking festival; it is a community initiative which brings an additional buzz to this small bustling town. Musicians and artists are giving their time and talent to help the Mayor of Conwy raise money and awareness of this year’s local charities, Clwb yr Efail and Carers Trust North Wales.
Trakz will bring the Junction together in an eclectic event for the whole family to enjoy, entry is free and the whole town is the stage.
