NCF exists to help bring hope to just a small fraction of the 25,000- 30,000 people a year in
India who are born with either a cleft lip, a cleft palate – or both – by sending a team of
voluntary medics and ancilliaries to India to perform life-changing operations, mainly on
The three speakers were part of an overall team of 60 who flew out to India last year, at their
own expense, to work with the Rotary Club of Nagpur West on a week-long 8am to 6pm
clinic, with double operating theatres.
