1930’s THRILLER COMES TO LLANDUDNO
The 1930’s thriller Six After Midnight is being shot in various locations in Llandudno this week from today, the 16th July.
The film is being financed by the Welsh Government, Ffilm Cymru Wales, Motion Picture Capital and West Madison Entertainment and produced by Mad as Birds.
There is an array of Hollywood stars starring in the movie this week , Dame Judi Dench, Jim Broadbent, Carla Juri, James D’Arc and Eddie Izzard who will also serve as executive producer.
” Six After Midnight ” is based on true events about a teacher Thomas Miller, a language and literature teacher born to English and German parents played by Izzard. Miller is assigned to a finishing school on the coast of England as the Second World War looms, and it is here that the daughters of high ranking Nazis are learning to become members of the Hitler’s “League of German Girls”. He is framed for a murder and accused of being a German spy after a confrontation with the leagues’ leader, a strong supporter of Adolph Hitler
Dame Judi Dench plays the role of Miss Rachell the school headmistress who goes to Miller’s aid after he goes on the run in an attempt to prove his innocence.
As yet there is no release date for this, which sounds to be an exciting movie!
